Spirit Competition Information
We would love to have you join us for our 28th Annual Rams Spirit Cheerleading Competition! The competition will be Saturday, November 2, 2024 at Central Dauphin High School in Harrisburg, PA. Bring your All Star, Rec, or High School team to compete on our spring floor in our air-conditioned, high school gym.
We understand it may be early in the season and we are happy to accommodate those teams that are not quite ready to put their full routine on the mat but want to run through as much as possible. Choose the “Exhibition” registration option and bring what you have. You’ll still receive scores and feedback, and your team will get a chance to shake off the nerves in a friendly, supportive environment.
While you are here don’t miss our wide assortment of vendor items and t-shirts, our well-stocked concession stands, and our free and plentiful parking. We have made enhancements this year to make your experience even more organized and enjoyable for this on-time event.

**If your rec team age breakdown differently than listed above, please let us know. We will do our best to accommodate traditional rec and performance rec division differences. Please provide as much detail as necessary about your team and we will break down divisions as appropriate.

- All Stars will follow USASF rules. High School and Youth will follow USA Cheer/NFHS rules.
- Game Day and Exhibition is also available for squads to perform.
- Specialty Awards will be given to squads with exceptional performances in: DANCE, JUMPS, TUMBLING, STUNTS & PYRAMIDS, CHEER EXECUTION, CREATIVITY, and MOST SPIRIT (during the performance.)
- There will be a Jump-Off and Tumble-Off contest open to all registered participants at a cost of $5.
Performance Format: Any combination of cheer and dance may be used in your routine. Time will begin with the first word, movement, or sound of your music. A three (3) minute time limit will be used. No penalty for routines under 3 minutes. Your squad may begin from any area of the mat. You may not begin your routine in a stunt or pyramid. You will be allowed to set up poms and signs prior to your routine. Please wait for your team’s name to be announced before you begin. All decisions of the judges are final.
Order of performance is determined by order of registrations received. Sorry, no refunds.
